Directly from film extrusion to thermoforming makes a big difference in the energy balance compared to the classical thermoforming process. This is not only a most gratifying development for the environment but also for the controller. Furthermore our Extrusion Lines are designed for the inline-production of deep-drawn products like cups and trays and, since years these lines are operating on top economic efficiency.
The inline processing gains more and more in importance as the advantage is clearly the simplified logistics and the enormous reduction in energy consumption. In the polishing stack the film web is cooled to the required temperature for deep-drawing thus omitting a heating-up in the thermoforming machine.
For inline production the esde polishing stack will be equipped with an integrated
haul-off unit. To simplify the maintenance and cleaning processes the base frame of the polishing stack is electrically movable in two ways.
esde Inline Extrusion Lines can produce a final film width of 500 to 1000 mm. They are most suitable for film thicknesses from 250 to 2500 µm.
