The esde co-extrusion line is suitable for a wide range of applications at the production of high quality optical sheets and films. Up to three extruders with screw diameters of 25, 50 and 70 mm can be connected. All the esde single screw extruders are extremely energy efficient and equipped with virtually noiseless direct drives. Universally designed barrier screws enable a broad spectrum of raw materials and throughputs. The gravimetric dosing and mixing unit optimizes the material input.

The feedblock on the co-extrusion line assures the supply of fresh material to all channels, even if not all extruders are connected.

The new sheet extrusion die with parallel lip regulates the slot height by up to 10 mm without having to interrupt the production process. Via touch-screen all parameters of the entire extrusion line are precisely regulated and controlled, the operating data are always recallable.

PET, PC, PMMA and PVC were used for the first trials on this line. Customers and interested parties are thrilled by the outstanding quality of the products and the safe and simple handling of the line.
