We manufacture customized extrusion dies – based on modular designed die bodies, for specific applications, which fit perfectly in the line.
We start with the customization of the manifold. Here we consider the width and thickness of the product, the specific kind of material and the required output.
For an optimal melt distribution the coat-hanger manifold and the melt flow are simulated in great detail. The rear of the manifold flow channel has a rounded form.

Co-Extrusion

For co-extrusion we use multi-channel dies or feedblocks. They enable complex applications of up to 7 layers. The feedblocks are equipped with fine adjusters to vary each layer. Exchangeable selector plugs allow different layer combinations as all channels are individually supplied and purged with fresh melt.

Flexible and individual

esde lines offer various options and are tailored to the customers’ specific requirements. For example our deckling systems facilitate the width-reduction of the film during production. We can also provide fully automated parallel adjustment of the lower lip for setting and adjustment of different sheet thicknesses.
